Nice big hotel in the center, just in front of a lake with 2 Pagoda. Elephant trunk at 600m, Departure for night boat also very clise.

We spent 2 nights at Sheraton hotel in Guilin. The hotel is located very centrally in walking distance to most major tourist attractions and close to Guilin railway station. The staff was very attentive and absolutely accomodating for all of our wishes making our experience very memorable. The interior design of the hotel is well thought out and gives it a simple but elegant touch. The facilities include small swimming pool which we couldn't try due to the weather situation. The gym consisted of a handful of cardio treadmills and machines for resistance training from Life Fitness with an area in the corner with dumbells and foam rollers, yoga mats. The changing room came with a sauna. We can recommend the breakfast buffet which is a mix of Western breakfast and local specialties from Guilin. Out of the available package options we really enjoyed the photo shoot where they provide makeup and clothes(classy/elegant and Guilin traditional) to capture the amazing moments from the trip.

Overall, it's a good hotel. The room at 6th floor is cosy but a bit dusty at corners. Maybe it has been operating for more than 7 years. Delicious tea break and breakfast! Picturesque window view towards the elephant trunk hill in the morning 😍 . Complimentary professional photographing service by friendly freelance photographer!

Hotel Review: A Wonderful Stay at SYYF Li River Courtyard Hotel! I recently had the pleasure of staying at SYYF Li River Courtyard Hotel, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness of my room—spotless and well-maintained, it felt welcoming and comfortable. The hotel’s location is another highlight. Nestled in a vibrant area, it’s just a short walk to a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops, making it incredibly convenient to explore the local scene. Whether you're looking for a cozy café or a lively nightlife spot, everything is within easy reach. One of the standout features of my stay was the hotel restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with an emphasis on local cuisine that truly showcased the flavors of the region. The beautiful views from the restaurant added an extra layer of enjoyment to each meal, making it a truly memorable dining experience. Additionally, my room offered stunning views as well, allowing me to wake up to breathtaking scenery each morning. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches provided by the hotel, such as complimentary tea upon arrival. It was a lovely way to unwind after a long journey. The amenities in the room were also impressive, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Great experience in Guilin. Rooms are incredible for us. Nice breakfast. Also, the bar has good cocktail with good view. Strongly suggest to have a try. Room service was very warm hearted. Hope they would have more efficient hair-drier.

Location is near to everything. Walking distance. Especially at night, so many food stalls. Nearby a foodcourt also. Room wise, basic. But all the toiletries given. The reception counter is extremely helpful. I was trying to buy a luggage scale but failed miserably. No meituan app, ended up the staff help us to weight our luggage at their kitchen 😅😅 well its works. Cos we have early flight on the next day. Jolin & Ella are friendly staff and even hand us a bag of snacks to eat at airport. Thanks!

My first impression of Shangri La Guilin is that many staff speak English proficiently or at least the basics that are required for their job. I arrived an hour and a half before the check in time but they promptly checked me into my room without any long wait. My luggage was taken to my room by a bell boy whose English was even better than the front of the house. My initial thoughts of the room was that it was quite old fashioned and the interior design & amenities were dated in comparison to most 5 star hotels. The view however was exceptional. I could clearly see the garden, river and mountains. After my first night I was woken by some loud music. Though the staff tried to tell the dancers that playing the music was disruptive to their guests, they continued to play it which further frustrated me. I informed the guest manager Edward who was very helpful in rectifying this. He upgraded me into a much nicer room that he ensured me should be quieter. They also gave me complimentary fruits in the room which added to the nice gesture. This is exactly the kind of quality of service that earns them a 5 star rating. Carl at the front desk was also very competent and was very helpful when I had to pay for something through wechat. The room I came with was a package deal that included breakfast, spa voucher, photoshoot and club privileges. It was worth the extra cost as the all inclusive club buffet during happy hour was filling and tasty (photo attached). Breakfast was a Chinese buffet with a fusion of western basics such as cereal, toast and bakery items. If you have the time, I would highly recommend seeing Kelly (English name) for a ”signature Asian” massage at the spa. She applied the perfect pressure for me and was very kind. The photoshoot was organised through wechat and included 6 photos. The photographer was lovely and the final photos made special memories of my time in China. Suggestions for improvement: several items in the room are in need of repair or replacement eg. old hair dryer that lightly blows air (useless), flickering lights when you turn it on and the phones. I also think if they were to refurbish the pools outside then the place would appear less worn down. Overall, the service and reputation is what made this stay worth it. I look forward to staying at Shangri La again

Beyond my expectation. Service is at tip top. Walkable to many places of interest within 400m. The receptionists were so helpful giving directions as where to go and assist to call for cab anytime i needed the service. Remarkable housekeeper aunty, asking me need not wait for my laundry as she will make sure it is all done and will deliver to my room, she even drop me a note after sending the laundry on my bed. Got a upgraded family room which was spacious and on the high floor. The hotel 7th floor has a small pool and nice view of the Jingjang Wangfu background and the ancient city. They do served tea at 3pm with some nice cookies and desserts, breakfast was awesome with order to make famous Guilin Noodle soup. Highly recommend this hotel for personalize service and a comfort room. Would rate it 5/5. 酒店位置很好，房间卫生很干净，设施设备很齐全，有洗衣房健身房提供，一楼大堂还有免费咖啡提供，大堂环境也很好，宽敞明亮，前台服务员水琳服务很好.

If you are looking for confusion and stress this hotel is not for you . We were enveloped at our entrance by fusion music and environments of ancient rural China. The possibility to enjoy a terrace overlooking the Li River, next to the village of real fishermen. The jagged mountains of the region while drinking coffee in the morning will transport you to a lost China. Fantastic breakfast and very comfortable rooms. On the front of the hotel a walking area keeping you aside from traffic Will bring you to the ancient Town of Daxu , a small Village beside. The restorant on River level Will complete the offer for your staying. The rest is by photos attached . Strictly raccomanded if you wanna relax.
