3-Star Hotels in Harbin

Very convenient place, it’s in zhongyang street, not noisy. The room is clean and tidy and comfortable to stay

The location was good. It was kind of middle of all attractions which takes 10-20minutes taxi commuting to Ice world, Cable car, Zhonyang Pedestrian Street. We visited Harbin during the Ice and Snow Festival, the weather was around -20/-25 celcius degree. And room was extremely hot with the floor heating, which was really good to keep yourself warm. Also floor heating helped us to dry some of our boots and pants 😂 It is recommended for sure.

The room appears much smaller than on the website but is adequate for solo travelling. Although water bottles was replaced daily, dirty tea cups were never removed or washed during my 4 day stay and I had to rinse them in the bathroom. The trash can was emptied every day but they do not make your bed. The shower head was broken and difficult to handle and the mattress topper was too big for the bed and kept slipping off. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was difficult in the sense that the hotel is situated in a very busy main road, with one way direction and few in between passes, meaning taxis must first drive quite far past the hotel before making a u-turn to turn back to drop you. The downside of using Didi's or taxi's are the rude and impatient drivers. They charged extra high fares during Christmas. We were often gridlocked in traffic, ending up walking back 2-4km to the hotel. Overall I was disappointed in the city itself. Many buildings were rundown and neglected with broken windos and peeled paint, that reminded me of a third world country. Streets were very dirty and a nearby school did not make traffic congestion any easier when commuting forth and back to the hotel. Rumours that Christmas is not so busy and a better time to be visiting Harbin, is not true. The crowds spoiled the experience at Saint Sophia Church, especially the influencers who dressed up in ridiculous outfits posing in freezing temperatures at the church staircases and corners, spoiling any photography opportunities. Stalls and shops around the Church were very expensive. I visited a few other churches like St Aleksyev and Jile Temple which was far worth the effort. The highlight of my trip was Volga Manor, Baroque Street and the Songhua Railroad Bridge. Sun Island snow sculptures were very enjoyable, easy to navigate and not congested with people. Plenty of space to walk through the park, play in the snow and take the cable car over the river. The ques are not long from the Sun Island side, but crossing over to Harbin's side, the ques were very long to get a cable car. Danny's Beer in the Baroques Street area is a must visit and offered welcoming, warm and delicious food and hospitality. It's a 4,7km hike from the Songhua River bridge and offered good food at very reasonable prices. I did not visit the Ice sculpture park or light shows because of the three hour waiting cues, too many people and slippery conditions. The Tiger park was a so-so experience and mostly annoying due to people teasing the tigers with meat strips they cannot reach; all for the sake of a photo opportunity. If you are an animal lover, rather skip the tiger Park. Lastly, a big plus was the public toilets near the Songhua River that were impressively clean.

This hotel in Harbin was a delightful experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. Overall, a great choice for anyone visiting Harbin.

1 The location is very convenient. It is adjacent to the subway entrance and not far from the Central Street Sophia Church Baroque Old Street. You can bike, take the subway or take a taxi. A taxi is not expensive for 10+. 2. The indoor hygiene is good and clean. 3. Breakfast is not bad, forget it for those who are demanding, it can satisfy carbohydrates, vegetables, fruits, and protein. 4. The girl with glasses at the front desk is very gentle and easy to talk to. 5 is an elevator, which is basically enough. If there are many people, you have to wait a while. The 6 deluxe king bed rooms are adequate in size but not too big.

Lingling at the front desk is very enthusiastic. The robot can deliver whatever you need. I ordered takeout with my children many times. The robot is very convenient. The breakfast is also rich and has many varieties. There is no shortage of dishes because of the late night. It is very close to the museum and it is convenient to go anywhere. If you don't want to take a car, you can walk.

Location is perfect, literally meters from the main street. that's pretty much what and all you are paying for. We were in the basic room so expectations were low. I would say it satisfy the basic needs in terms of space and amenities. I mean is a decent place to sleep for the location. However, the room is really small, a bit cold, old and pretty much falling apart here and there. Bed was good, comfortable and soft. Rooms are not soundproof so expect to hear everything going around. However, we were lucky to not have many guests around. Wifi was horrible and slow. Reception was great and the staff at the entrance has been friendly and available with any requests. For the low score to service it is meant to the cleaning. Room was still dirty on the angles when we arrived. Soups were never refilled in the bathroom (not even the hand ones) and we had to ask everytime to get a refill. Feels like cleaning lady entered, put the cover on the bed back in order and left without caring much on whatever was needed to be refilled or cleaned in the room. Barely touching the bottom of the job. Anyway back again, low expectations, decent room, great location. Satisfy the basic requirements and if you get it for a low price might be worth it.

The environment is safe and hygienic. Toiletries and slippers are disposable. Generally speaking, the store is in good overall condition. The small gifts are also considerate and good value for money. The front desk receptionist Guan Xiaowei is patient and courteous in treating guests. His service attitude is very good and deserves praise.

It's pretty good. You can walk to any place within about one kilometer. There are so many fun and beautiful places in Hamako. I will come again next time. The attractions are very dense and almost all are one or two kilometers apart.

Good location, walking distance to Songhua River and just outside is the popular Zhongyangdajie, loads of people during holiday and weekends. 15-30minutes cab ride to the famous attractions (tiger Park, ice and snow city etc.) However the room is in need of a good renovation, lots of old mouldy/brown stains, not for fussy people. But generally still acceptable for sleeping. The guy manning the breakfast place on 01 Jan 2024 seems to be an emotionless low level robot. Just looking for hotel room number and didn't even understand what I was asking, neither did he suggest how to get a breakfast ticket from the counter. Receptionist are good. Wifi connection/phone signal is very poor especially in the toilet. Would recommend if you just want a place in good location to sleep, shower and put your belongings. Not recommended if you plan to stay in your hotel for a staycay or work.
