The hotel is charming and has a luxurious ambiance, although it lacks certain amenities typically associated with five-star establishments. Guests are offered complimentary beverages upon check-in. The lobby and lounge areas are spacious and adorned with beautiful Indonesian art and décor. The staff is friendly and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests. While the location may not be ideal, it is worth noting that few hotels in Jakarta offer a prime location at this price point. The pool appeared inviting, though I did not have the opportunity to use it. Regrettably, the gym was closed during my visit. The breakfast buffet is truly exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, featuring comfortable beds and large bathtubs.

We recently stayed at this hotel for one night and had a great experience. The location is fantastic, just a short distance from the Gambir train station, making it very convenient. The staff were exceptionally helpful and caring, even arranging a taxi pick-up for us. The room was clean, and the rate was very reasonable. Although we didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant or other facilities, the overall service and value make this hotel highly recommended.

We visited this hotel 2 weeks ago, receptionist greeted us with smile, booking process only need several minutes, there is comfortable lobby for waiting and very wide pool. We booked suite room because its the biggest room for us to take maternity photo and there is bathup with nice night city view. BBQ night dinner taste was awesome with butter rice, various fresh fish, sirloin corner, salad bar and lot of desserts. Breakfast taste is good and mostly indonesia traditional food, you should try their porridge. Dental kit using great quality with branded toothpaste. Checkout process very fast and after that we go to pasar baru with 3 minutes walk. Special thanks for receptionist staff and restaurant staff for your friendly services. We definitely will be back if there is chance.

Many eateries like cafes and restaurants nearby. Few massage parlours too. Walking distance to Sarinah. If you can walk about 800m you can reach the Grand and Plaza indonesia, Thamrin City. Room is very spacious and cosy. Got the smoking room on level 8. Hotel interior and exterior looks like a 5 star hotel. Was so nice of the Front Desk who upgraded me for free. Didn’t manage to try the breakfast. Free laundry for you to do it ON YOUR OWN. They provide detergent and there’s dryer too. Everything about this hotel is good. From the staffs, location, interior etc. Book it!

All fine except the noise of the kid from the other room because there is a door connected to the other room from my room. Rest all is very satisfying

It was ok. I booked a king size bed, was given a twin room lower floor. The room show signs of abuse and marks of rust and bubbles on the walls. The pool is nice but very dirty of the leaves that continuously fall from the surrounding pool trees. Stay is pleasant. Food is a bit expensive. 1 beer is almost the same price of 1 dish.

Nice but dated 5 star hotel. Spacious room, comfortable bed and pillow. A vast variety and generous amount of traditional and some western selections for the breakfast buffet. My personal take will be 4.5/5.

As usual kempinski have their own standard in hospitality industry. They employed good staffs And also try to perceive what each individual needs are. How ever during this 2 nights stay only this 2 small flawed. 1. The shampoo was not in my bathroom and need to get the housekeeping to sent later. How ever probably need for the supplier to change the Color of 3 bath amenities since during busy time will be easy for them to set in the room. For your information shampoo and shower gel are same colour and the writing was very tiny. The other is during breakfast on Sunday. I know it was busy morning but I’ve ordered a new coffee and went to the smoking section to make a call and when I’ve return my table was reset and someone else have taken the table. Possible to put a signage or code for the occupancy of tables since even though the staff are well trained but some how some message was not translated as what customers wish for so I just went back to my room with only with half full stomach.

Hotel building and lobby looked nice enough. Checking in was a breeze. Room hallway looks old and gloomy, reminded me of my dormitory days but with better colours. Bedroom didn't have much space, but was still tolerable. The wallpapers had yellowing/dried leak marks. Washroom was tiny and all the drains (sink & shower) are very slow at draining. And no lock for the washroom. The worst was the lighting, i turned off the lights while sleeping, woken up to a room fully lit with tv on maybe a couple hours later. I thought i might have accidentally pressed a button while sleeping. Turned everything off and went to sleep again, then same thing happened again. In total this happened 3 or 4 times, too tired and sleepy to care. I didn't bother complaining because it happened between the middle of the night to dawn. Even if I did complain the possible solutions would be to send a technician or switch me to a better room, and neither is desirable. I was on a one night business trip with full schedule both days. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options, but the service wasn't so good. When i was showed to my table, the host asked if i wanted coffee or tea, I picked coffee. Went around to take my breakfast, came back to table and coffee wasn't there. Then not long after i started eating, a waiter came by and asked if i wanted coffee or tea, said coffee. 5 minutes later another waiter came by if I wanted coffee or tea..again. Finally got my coffee a good 15mins later, I should've just gotten a cup myself. Asked for sunny side ups, eggs came after i finished my plate, about the same waiting time with coffee and the egg station was empty when I ordered. I'm sorry but I don't think this was a 5-star hotel, and the price wasn't worth it. I believe the problem with light was caused by the room card slot right to turn on the power. Must've gone wrong and failed to detect a card in the slot and shut everything off, then suddenly detected the card again, hence all power and light kept turning back on. Won't be staying there again Hallway picture doesn't look that bad in picture, because my phone decided to make it look nicer by auto-adjusting the light level, much darker in reality

Pleasant one night stay at the hotel . Receptionist miss siska was wonderful for checking in. Thank once again for platter of cakes Wonderful mouth watering and delicious. Mouth watering morning breakfast with live station for soup ,nasi fried rice and egg section and pancake section. In my last 12 trips to Indonesia the bubur was the best I eaten after every where in indonesia. We will back soon
