Last Friday, the Appliscale team came together in Krakow for a day packed with ideas and an evening full of festive fun. We kicked things off with an offsite at the TAURON Arena Kraków with Open Space Technology (OST) workshops on everything from productivity and recruitment to AI, remote work, and some classic “war stories.” The chats were lively, the ideas were flowing, and we walked away with plenty of things to take action on. Big thanks to Kamil Stanuch for his excellent facilitation of the sessions. Then it was time to celebrate! We headed to Restaurant Pino River for some amazing food, drinks, and some secret Santa fun. A perfect way to toast an incredible year with an even more incredible team. Now it’s time to briefly relax, recharge, and get ready to tackle 2025. To our colleagues, partners, friends, and clients—Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and here’s to an awesome New Year! 🎄🍾

The Appliscale team had an amazing time last week at Upgrade24 hosted by ITCORNER. It was one of those events where you could feel the energy in the room—so many great companies, fascinating conversations, and an impressive turnout of industry experts. ITCORNER did a phenomenal job with both content and arrangements, keeping everything fresh, insightful, and engaging from start to finish. While 2024 has certainly brought its challenges for the sector, it was incredibly refreshing to hear shared stories of those struggles, along with practical suggestions and honest discussions on how to tackle these obstacles head-on as we look toward 2025 and beyond. We walked away armed with plenty of new ideas to share with the wider team. Huge thanks to ITCORNER and everyone who made this event such an invaluable experience!

We had so much fun at our Family Picnic this September at Projekt Strzelnica! The weather was fantastic, and it was awesome seeing so many people—colleagues, family and friends—having such a great time with some fun games, tasty food, and delicious drinks! It was a day full of laughs and good vibes—the perfect way to end the Summer! A big thank you to everyone who came out and made it so special! It was great to see our CEO, Michal Niec, participating in a panel discussion on “Doing Business in the US,” hosted by ITCorner in Wroclaw. It was a fantastic opportunity to be among such interesting and well-established companies with a strong presence in the US market. The discussion was packed full of unique perspectives and valuable insights. Our host, Michał Nikołajuk, ensured that the questions were engaging, and the wealth of data and statistics shared was incredible. Thank you again to ITCORNER and our fellow panelists. We had another excellent chance to share knowledge with our colleagues at ITCorner Krakow. Our COO, Eain, discussed our experiences in building multicultural, highly functional teams, which we believe are crucial to our success in attracting numerous esteemed clients in the USA and beyond. The discussion that followed was, as always, very engaging. We are eagerly anticipating the next meeting.

A couple of days back, we hit the ice for some more Curling. It was an incredible experience as we focused on aiming, shooting, coordinating, and sweeping, all while making sure we didn’t end up on our backs on the challenging ice.
