Over a year ago, we lost a deal in 🇭🇺, because we were too late to the party. That motivated us to take a bold step and speed up our deal-sourcing process by building an AI sourcing platform - to see more founders, analyse them faster and focus on building relationships with the most interesting ones. Twelve months later, we've just closed our third investment sourced directly through this tool! 🥳 Here’s a quick rundown of what we’ve achieved: • More investments: Mindly and two not announced yet 🇭🇷🇱🇹 • Deal flow increase: The tool has increased our top-of-funnel (screened, relevant startups) deal flow by ~49% allowing us to discover more founders/startups • Faster decision-making: Every lead is scored (1-5 stars) depending on many factors (ex jobs, unis, exits etc.), it helps to focus on the most promising startups. • Better coverage: We invest in founders from entire Central and Eastern Europe, yet we don't have strong network in every country. It has enabled us to tap into a wider range of geographies, including our latest investments in the Balkan and Baltic regions. For example coverage of 'quality deals' in Baltics improved by 55%.
