Last week, I had an incredible opportunity to attend a training session on data visualisation from Jürgen Faisst. Over 30 business owners from various industries—IT, healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, and logistics—came together to learn the cutting-edge IBCS – International Business Communication Standards for data visualization from one of its co-creators Jürgen Faisst. As the only participant from the HR and consulting space, I was eager to see if this methodology could be applied to HR analytics. I have a dream. To create a clear, intuitive way to visualize the recruitment process. Imagine an “Uber for recruitment” where you can instantly see where the “car” is stuck in the pipeline. This seminar was truly transformative, one that completely shifts your perception. I initially thought I was going to learn about data visualization techniques, but the seminar delved much deeper into the core of communication - understanding the underlying meanings behind reports and presentations, and how to convey them with utmost clarity, minimizing distortion and noise. IBCS is already revolutionizing business communication for leading companies. Major BI vendors like SAP and Microsoft are certifying their tools to support the methodology. And IBCS on its way to becoming an ISO standard 🔥 A huge thanks to Jürgen Faisst for such an inspiring seminar! 🎓 The IBCS Certification Course #35 was successfully concluded last week in Konstancin, Poland. Participants deepened their knowledge of implementing the IBCS standards for effective business communication. Jürgen Faisst and Edyta Szarska delivered an engaging and comprehensive training session in English. This week, we’re continuing with another certification course in Konstanz, Germany, this time conducted in German and led by Jürgen Faisst and Rolf Hichert. Over three days, participants are mastering the principles that transform business communication, enabling faster, clearer, and more informed decision-making through visual consistency.
