Did you know that during menopause, women lose 0.5% of lean body mass each year, while fat mass increases by 1.7% annually? These shifts can affect everything from metabolism to physical strength, leading to risks such as metabolic disorders, fatigue, and osteoporosis. As estrogen levels decline, the body undergoes significant changes, like increased fat accumulation (particularly around the abdomen) and muscle loss.
