The New Year is approaching rapidly, bringing new regulations on the availability of charging stations 🔋 According to the amendment, from 1st January 2025, in non-residential buildings with more than 20 parking spaces owned by large enterprises, the owner or manager will be required to install at least one EV charging point ⚡ This requirement becomes particularly problematic in densely built areas where space for charging stations may not be available 🏘️ One solution to this problem could be EV charging stations integrated into composite lighting poles. While the number of road accidents in our country is decreasing year by year, the numbers are still alarming. In 2023 alone, there were 20,936 road accidents in Poland, resulting in 1,893 fatalities. A total of 24,125 people were injured, including 7,545 of them seriously. We may not be able to influence road conditions or driver skills, but we strive to minimise accident impacts through our products. We believe that with composite products, it is possible to achieve the goals of Sweden’s “Vision Zero” program, which aims to reduce the number of fatalities on the roads to zero. Why are we convinced that composites are a crucial element in achieving this? Because they are the only materials that meet strict passive safety standards, reducing the impact of vehicle collisions with poles. When we saw the devastating images from the live coverage of towns and cities hit by floods in September, we knew we needed to find a way to help their residents 🫂 Our power poles and telecommunication poles are perfect for installation in difficult terrain and challenging conditions 💪 You don’t need heavy equipment to move and set them up, and they are also ideal as temporary solutions ⏳ That’s why we immediately offered all municipalities affected by the floods our materials - free of charge - to help them rebuild their infrastructure.
