Orbital Matter
Produkcja dla przemysłu obronnego i kosmicznego
The Space Construction Company. We are working on a 3D Printing technology to be used in orbit and on the Moon.
Informacje
At Orbital Matter, we aim at becoming the first construction company in space. We are working on a 3D Printing technology to be used directly in orbit, on the Moon and on Mars to manufacture large elements of space infrastructure e.g., walls for space stations, moon habitats and SBSP reflectors. Our early stage product is a deployable system for satellites up to 20x more efficient than existing solutions.

We’ve launched our first 3D printer into space! 🚀 From concept to space in just 6 months, #Replicator1 was successfully deployed from #Ariane6 on its maiden flight, which means our main mission objective of validating our technology for launch has been achieved! 💫 Over the next few weeks we will attempt to initiate contact with our satellite and try to conduct our bonus objective of testing our printers in orbit. While we hope to perform a successful demo on the first try, our iterative development process includes plans for up to 5 CubeSat missions in the #Replicator series, with each mission improving our product. 🛰 If you want to join us on this amazing journey, feel free to get in touch as we are assessing launch opportunities for the upcoming missions and always looking for talented people to work with!

We are thrilled to showcase the mission patch for our Replicator mission to be launched on #Ariane6 on July 9th thanks to Once Upon a RIDE! space and the European Space Agency - ESA . Replicator 1 was developed and built in just 4 months and is the first in a series of satellites that will allow us to iteratively develop our technology while taking advantage of the low launch and development costs of CubeSats to drastically speed up R&D. We’ve already begun working on the next satellite and everything we will learn from this mission will be applied to Replicator 2. Make sure to tune in on the 9th of July to see the launch live and keep an eye out for updates about our mission 🛰!

Orbital Matter ponownie to opublikował(a)
Orbital Matter is our portfolio spotlight of the month. They aim to build space infrastructure in the orbits of the Moon, Mars, and Earth. 🚀 Their proprietary 3D printing technology enables them to miniaturize and simplify payloads launched on rockets to space and maximize the size of the structures 3D printed in space. 🚀 Their first product will replace some existing satellite parts, offering up to 20x volume savings. Orbital Matter collaborates closely with Thales Alenia Space under the Space Business Catalyst Accelerator to mature the product. 🚀 ESA has selected the company to demonstrate its technology in space aboard the Ariane 6 maiden flight in July this year. If successful, it will be the first global 3D printer operating outside the International Space Station (ISS). 🚀 We will, of course, keep you posted on the space launch. You can learn more about them at https://lnkd.in/eBVcSDfe or by contacting the founders, Jakub Stojek & Robert Ihnatisin.

In less than 4 months❗we've built a satellite, developed payload, integrated it with the platform and completed all tests required by ARIANESPACE! Now we are gearing up for the highly anticipated #Ariane6 launch! 🛰️ The goal of the Replicator mission is to demonstrate 3D printing capabilities directly in space vacuum and microgravity - first time outside the International Space Station. Testing campaign of our 3U satellite took place in Toulouse, at the Thales Alenia Space facilities, where we are part of Space Business Catalyst Accelerator. Our technology was selected for a flight opportunity via Once Upon a RIDE!/European Space Agency - ESA PUSH! campaign in January this year, managed by RIDE! space. Stay tuned for updates as we prepare to embark on this thrilling new chapter! 🌠 #SpaceInnovation #LaunchPreparation #OrbitalMatter #ISAM
