🌟 The 12th edition of the Forum Executive Club in Warsaw was truly exceptional! This event brought together innovation, emerging technologies, and real-world expertise to tackle pressing topics like cyber security and building a culture of innovation in businesses. One of the key takeaways? While advanced systems and #AI are critical in combating cyber threats, it’s the human factor that remains the last line of defense. Employee training is essential in creating an effective cyber security strategy—one that combines physical protection, clear policies, robust information systems, and continuous upskilling efforts. We would like to extend our gratitude to the incredible speakers, including our very own Przemyslaw Frasunek, as well as to the moderator and all the other panelists involved in this impactful discussion. 🎥 Don’t miss the full debate, available here: https://lnkd.in/dgATCqsm #CyberSecurity #Innovation #ExecutiveForum
#Executive #InnovationForum Combining innovation and new technologies with the knowledge of practitioners, and experienced experts in the field of cyber security - this sums up the 12th edition of the Forum Executive Club in Warsaw. The conference discussed the latest trends that are changing the face of Polish business and the importance of building a culture of innovation in organizations. The issue of cyber security, or partnerships in action for security in the digital world, was again in the spotlight. The experts invited to the debate stressed that despite all the innovative systems and #AI supporting protection against cyber criminals, there will always be a human being at the end of the chain, so training them is a key element in building a cyber security strategy. In the #digital world, people are the last line of defense when systems fail. So let's not focus solely on #technology. Building an effective multi-layered cybersecurity strategy should be based on four main pillars: physical protection of facilities and infrastructure, clear security policies followed by procedures, information systems, and employee training. Regarding the activities of #cybercriminals, some intriguing examples were given of the role social engineering and skillful use of information generally available in social media play in phishing today. As Bartosz Pastuszka, CEO of NaviRisk stressed, criminals carry out targeted attacks on well-thought-out and recognized targets, they know who is who in a given company, and what position they have. The NaviRisk CEO stressed that a mine of data for criminals could be the social media for children - often posting photos from home, sharing information publicly about school or where they live, or even their parent's assets. He advised us to talk to our children, show them what the risks are, and filter very carefully the information we make publicly available about ourselves on social media. He gave examples of successful scams carried out by cybercriminals as a case study.
