At SPIE, both development and knowledge sharing are very important to us. 👨🎓 Last week, the SPIE Central Europe Management Conference took place in Prague. More than 90 representatives from all 10 companies from Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia participated in the event. During the conference, the key actions for this year and the plans for 2025 were discussed. We also awarded trophies to the companies that were most involved in the taken actions. There was time for a walk through the beautiful city of Prague and for team-building activities. 💪

By January 2025, the subsidiary will formally join the Group of Polish companies, strengthening the Central Europe division.   “The SPIE Group is joined by a company employing 330 highly qualified professionals, whose knowledge and experience are invaluable to us. This transaction will enhance our competencies in the electrical installation services segment. On Sunday, October 20th, the latest edition of the La Parisienne run took place in Paris 🏃♀️ . The event was primarily organized for women, but many enthusiastic men also participated, showing their support for the theme of the run — breast cancer awareness. It’s wonderful that SPIE is part of this event! Sixteen women from the Central Europe region completed the 7km route, which featured views of the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Élysées, and the Alexandre III Bridge.   🥉 The SPIE team ranked 3rd out of 136 companies in the 7 km run, achieving a time faster than last year.   …and the SPIE podium is: • 1st: Danielle SPEEKENBRINK, SPIE Nederlands (30:50) • 2nd: Isabelle LAMBERT, SPIE SA (33:13) • 3rd: Juliette QUEFFEULOU, SPIE Citynetworks, France (33:35)   Congratulations to all participants! 🎉

🌍 Social Responsibility plays a key role in SPIE's life. Employees from Hungarian entity SPIE AGIS Fire & Security Kft. visited Kindergarten, Primary School, Unified Special Education Methodological Institute (EGYMI) in Budapest and helped them with work in their courtyard. After prior consultation and preparation, they worked on a sunny afternoon and carried out the following works: - Treatment and repainting of the wooden climbing tower surface in the courtyard of the institution for the children's recreation, - Surface treatment of two wooden cottages in the yard for preservation, - Repainting the courtyard benches, - Treatment and repainting of the 55-meter-long "hunting fence" surface, - Collection of yard green waste and leaves. Thanks to the efficient work, they even had time to glaze the iron gate in the courtyard!   Hard to put into words the atmosphere of this day, the enthusiasm with which our colleagues threw themselves into the work. In addition to the non-stop work, the courtyard of the institution received a new face by early afternoon. 💪 We would like to thank the leaders of the Kindergarten and Primary School for the opportunity to be there!
