MISSION: Stereo Coach has been founded in an answer to repeatedly noticed pattern, where people want changes in their lives, but don’t know where to start, where actually they want to get and how to get there. By applying coaching tools, my main mission is raising clients’ self-awareness, challenging status quo and driving to changes, which will become solid fundaments of new, pleasant and satisfactory life. VISION: Stereo derives from the Greek στερεός (stereós: "firm, solid"). The main vision is to use open-ended questions, which being answered may help to get rid of temporary solutions, remove false self-beliefs, which are limiting one’s potential and replace them with solid, self-developed and long-lasting understanding of who we truly are. As Stereo Sound surrounds the listener, results of your raising self-awareness may surround, impress and impact your new, better life and make you start thinking with questions. VALUES: PARTNERSHIP Coaching is Partnership relation. That’s why Coach is a partner, not a mentor and Client is an owner of the process. Client can rely on the Coach and Coach is always supportive and attentive. ABILITY Activities are done out of ability. All coaching initiatives are conducted here based on ICF principles, core competencies, values and ethics. RESPECT Questions, feedback and atmosphere of all coaching activities is respectful, friendly and allows mistakes. Nobody feels judged or oppressed and respect is present at all times. Stereo Coach’s zone is hateless area. TRUST Every interaction is built on rapport full of trust and confidence, where each word matters and all confidentiality rules are followed. YEAH! Celebrating achieved goals, successes and milestones is fine! Everyone has a right to self-recognition and say YEAH!

    DDT vs. TED – chapter 2 Last time we spoke about role of THE VICTIM – powerless sayer “Poor me”. Let’s focus now on THE RESCUER. The Rescuer's line is "Let me help you." Rescuers constantly intervene on behalf of the Victims and try to save Victims from perceived harm. They feel guilty of standing by and ‘watching people drown’ and ultimately becomes angry (and becomes a Persecutor) as their help fails to achieve change. They may subconsciously also feel they need to be rewarded or regularly show they ‘did the right thing.’ Rescuers may have all the good intention and strive to ‘help’ other people as they see necessary. They fail to realize that by offering short-term fixes to Victims, they keep Victims dependent and neglect their own needs. This is why Rescuers often find themselves pressured, tired, and may not have time to finish their own tasks, as they are busy fire-fighting for the Victims as they arise! I encourage your introspection - be mindful, observe your actions and reactions, don't be afraid of THE CHANGE 🙂 💪

    Good Morning Fellas, As promised last Friday, I would like to elaborate a bit on each approach from the triangles below: DDT and TED. Once we'll have a clarity on each of 6 characteristics, our eyes will go to transforming RED zones to GREEN zones. Let me introduce you our first guest - THE VICTIM. Victims often feel powerless and helpless, seeing themselves as the target of circumstances or other people’s actions. They may appear passive, seeking sympathy and rescue from others. Victims may not take responsibility for their actions or try to change their situation. They think they are at the mercy of life. They are unwilling to take responsibility for their undesirable circumstances and don’t think they have the power to change their lives.   Victims assume themselves as powerless or incompetent and blame on Persecutors (can be other people or a particular situation). They always seek for Rescuers to solve the problem for them. If the Victims continue to stay in the ‘dejected’ stance, it will prevent them from making decisions, solving problems, changing the current state, or sensing any satisfaction or achievement.     TGIF! Guys, shall we wrap up this week with one more insight (maybe it will blossom in your heads throughout the weekend)? Let me present you 2 "Universes": The Dreaded Drama Triangle VS. The Empowerment Triangle It is based on American Psychologist's (S.B. Karpman) Drama Triangle theory (1960s), which is a social model of human interaction. The triangle maps a type of destructive interaction that can occur among people in conflict. To transform from DDT to TED (2009), it's recommended that the "Victim" adopt the alternative role of Creator, the Persecutor becomes a Challenger and finally find a Coach in a Rescuer. This is super broad topic, so it would take ages to describe it in details. Therefore, let me split it to some episodes - stay tuned 😏 Wish you a lovely Weekend ahead!

    This post is about IDENTITY, EQUITY and INCLUSION. I've been living in Kraków for over 10 years now. In Poland, original citizens of big cities call comers "Słoiki" (eng. Jars). Is it ok? All around we hear about diversity, equity, inclusion, identity, but often these are just empty slogans. People with disabilities are often excluded from society can't develop careers due to their unplanned limitations (which in fact rarely limit anything), Słoiki struggle with building identity in new place, although they've been living there for years, we could multiply examples. But you know what? I want to encourage you to something. I feel a true citizen of Kraków, I live here, I work and pay taxes here, I am building my family here and I have a right to feel it. Dear Friend, it doesn't matter where you come from, towards where you are heading. It's about how you find yourself in given situation. Don't blame yourself upfront for any reason. We are all equal. Because we are diversed. And I love it!
