About the Project:

The project involves supporting the development of a user-friendly platform for large-scale bioimage analysis built on open standards for image storage and visualization. The work includes converting microscopy image formats, implementing scalable task architectures for high-performance computing, and developing web interfaces for workflow management and data navigation. The initiative is a collaboration between stakeholders from a global organization and a leading research center.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and optimizing scalable bioimage analysis pipelines using Python.
• Implementing solutions for image format conversion and task orchestration.
• Ability to design and prototype BI solutions based on business requirements
• Creating user-friendly web interfaces for workflow management.
• Designing and implementing scalable solutions for HPC or cloud environments.
• Applying software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and source control.

You’re Ideal for This Role If You Have:

• A degree in a relevant field such as bioinformatics, computer science, or mathematics.
• Proficiency in Python programming and related frameworks.
• Experience with scalable computing solutions in HPC or cloud environments.
• Familiarity with software engineering tools like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
• A strong background in mathematics, statistics, and exploratory data analysis.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have:

• Experience with image processing for biological datasets, especially microscopy.
• Skills in developing user-facing applications with Python or web technologies.
• Knowledge of deep learning or classical machine learning methods.
