The Pixel Buds have never been working properly since the Day 1 I bought it. My phone is Pixel 5 and the buds' firmware is up to date. Bluetooth signal drops sometimes. Touch Control is totally unusable as it pause, skip tracks, hang up calls constantly by itself. I have no option but to turn this function off all the time. I contacted the Customer Service but got no response.

I finally gave in and bought some and they're pretty good. I've had some issues with the sound reverting to mono but restarting my phone fixes that. The latest whine is the app no longer showing separate charges for the buds and the case - just 1 charge value. Also it's no longer possible to switch between noise cancelling, transparent and off. That's 3/4's of its usefulness gone. Typical Google, I guess. Fiddling with things for the sake of it.

Okay, so I revised my review, but this is a bug and should probably be fixed. I had to reinstall the app and forget the device, but I have the features back, it wasn't properly detecting them as pixel buds I believe, so this should be fixed. 4(edit, 3) Stars, can be changed to 5 if check notifications by hold button is added back. I now must add that ANC control doesn't work at all, which is especially inconvenient when just wearing left bud, which is set to assistant. Decreased to 3 stars.
