This version version 2.24.8.85 com.whatsapp brings a lot of nice features to WhatsApp, love it. But I discovered a bug : - when we edit a sent message, the updates cannot be immediately reflected in that individual chat window, but it can however be found in the preview in the message list. That means, in order to view the edited message(s), I have to exit the chat window and re-enter to find the edited message(s). Please fix. Thanks

It's great, I use every day. However, with every update, there's a new glitch. At the moment, when I swipe to reply to a message and reply with a picture, press send, it sends without replying to the message I selected. Another: when pressing the emoji button after typing my message, suddenly there's a massive gap between the emojis and the message bar, which is nearly touching the chat name at the top, that's how high up the screen it has glitched.

After the new update, I'm not receiving any new messages from others, nor are my messages being sent. A sent message shows up as one grey tick. I have to constantly force stop the app, and clear my cache to receive new messages. At one point I had to do this more than 10 times in a single day, because I wasn't getting any messages. I've switched phones, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and this is still happening. The phone also heats up rapidly, causing the battery to drain quickly.

• You can now edit messages up to 15 minutes after sending. Long press a message and choose ‘Edit’ to get started.
• Group chats show the profile photos of their participants.
