Evil Genius with Russell Kane

I LOVE this podcast. It highlights that our society has celebrated genius while sweeping their evil actions under the carpet. Subtly asking if it’s been worth it by forcing panelists to choose between evil or genius. A conversation amongst comedians respectfully discussing the uncomfortable subjects makes them a lot less difficult to listen to. It considers moral evolution while revealing a number of perspectives. It is frustrating when I think of a point that the panel have not made but that is a testament to how engaging it is. It does sometimes feel rushed due to time limits that I think could still be easily filled if extended. About a dozen episodes have lead me to believe a sinister streak is the key difference that allows a level of genius to be reached, question whether we are all capable of it but held back by our conscience and take those idols down off of the superhuman pedestal we’ve put them on.

Great concept ruined by d list Stand ups using the platform to plug there own shows or brand of comedy, every episode revolves around either sexism or racism rather than focusing on shocking discoveries or interesting facts not known originally. Maybe do more reserch like in the first series

Absolutely love this!! Discovered the show on bbc sounds a couple of weeks ago! Just listened to the Elvis ep, and was genuinely gripped. For me the show strikes a perfect balance, funny, informative, at times emotive and very entertaining. Love it!
