Deep breaths…
9 Aug
Michael really needs to stay off the stimulants when it’s his turn to read the book. JFC, man. Peter continually makes absolutely hilarious comments, and Michael doesn’t even hear them, desperate to get to his next over-researched piece of excruciating minutiae. Slow down, dude. Listen to your cohost. Let him develop his humorous riffs. We’re listening for the laughs, not for some in-the-weeds gotcha from a caffeine-blind maniac talking at 300 words per minute. We don’t need two hours of Phd level research to prove Hiadt is a dunce. Breath deeply, centre yourself, and listen to Peter brightening up our lives. Let him fly!

I love it when Mike gets in the debunkbed with any of his excellent podcast partners. Also please let us know if Peter has put up the shelf yet.

This is my favourite podcast and I’ve listened to it all 3 times over! The hosts are very funny and insightful My only suggestion would be to be clearer about the upload schedule of episodes maybe by writing public posts on their Patreon if there are delays or putting notes in the podcast feed- I don’t have a Twitter account since it became X so maybe they update on there?
Unfortunate biases

I’m a long-time listener, but I’ve become increasingly uncomfortable with how politicized this show is becoming. The protest episode (also what does this topic have to do with books?) was painful to listen to, there was so little willingness to genuinely question things. Very starting to feel so disappointed and jaded by this show.
