A few years ago I was a broke, university dropout, at 18 I built an industry leading social media marketing company, and at 27 I resigned as CEO. At 28 I co-founded Flight Story – a marketing and communications company, and thirdweb - a software platform, making it easy to build web3 applications. I then launched private equity fund, Flight Fund, to accelerate the next generation of European unicorns. During this time I decided to launch 'The Diary Of A CEO' podcast with the simple mission of providing an unfiltered journey into the remarkable stories and untold dimensions of the world’s most influential people, experts and thinkers. Thank you for listening. Podcast saved my mind
12 Nov
When I was thrust into unemployment whilst on maternity leave I really struggled to keep my mind active and keep focus, hope and ambition for the future. Especially living in an affluent area in London where the other mums had high powered jobs to go back to and I was left pretty lonely with a forced identity shift from good job to stay at home mum. I listened to this podcast pushing the buggy regularly and it kept my mind from falling into helplessness. Job market was horrendous and I was keen to switch industry. A career pivot is almost impossible without networking and networking is almost impossible with a baby. I was inspired to focus on the 1% gains. Took a while but I’ve managed to get an offer to join a prestigious consultancy whilst 25 weeks pregnant again. I genuinely thank you for helping stave off the negative inner voices and keep me company with the right kind of energy 🙏🏼
Misleading and inaccurate
Snake oil sales men and women pushing disinformation about health, and cranks with unproven claims about causes of illness and disease. ‘Toxins’ in cooking utensils and packaging causing childhood obesity, infertility and autism?! Really?? Do yourself a favour and give this a swerve, it’s a load of pseudo scientific nonsense. These podcasts really need regulating.
Nonsense

Absolute rubbish / nothing of any significance apart from scaremongering and platitudes - nothing specific and no learning from this episode with Raul at all. Very disappointing and not the usual standard.
Interesting but fear based

I really enjoy 75% of these conversations however I find it anxiety inducing where the titles seem to be mostly fear based and this puts me off listening. At a time where things are very uncertain in the world and a lot of people struggle to see the positives, I tend to unfollow for my mental health when the podcast releases a few negative conversations in a row that I can’t really do anything about. Of course, these conversations are important to have. However, they seem to come one after the other. I tend to refollow when I see a few more positive discussions uploaded. I wonder if that’s why 50% of listeners don’t follow but listen regularly so that they can pick out the conversations that don’t leave them with a sense of helplessness. It could be that some of these conversations aren’t overly negative, but if the title eludes to something that will kill me or the planet and I have no control over, I will just avoid listening at all.
