I rarely sit still long enough to watch an episode, but I look forward to each podcast to listen while I am going about my day. I have recommended the show to a number of my fellow Vets. These are some great stories and you are doing important work in getting them recorded. Great job, Ryan! 7-29-23 Great interview with the Chaplain! Really interesting career path and food for thought. Well done, again! 11-05-23: Wow! I was listening for awhile but I just knew that I needed to sit down long enough to watch the new one-on-one format. There’s definitely something about seeing the face of a person pouring out their personal stories that makes it more impactful. I will still mostly listen as I go about my daily life, but I will surely be watching as many as I am able to. Great job! 8-26-24: I finally got a chance to go back and hear some previous episodes and just listened to Lisa Jaster and her great stories about Engineering and Ranger school. What an amazing lady! As always, especially up to the current date, you do great work and have some really interesting guests! I still haven’t seen Ret. MG Dailey from the 160th come up, but I sure hope you can get him interviewed soon. I’m always looking forward to the next episodes! 12-25-24 Fascinating interview with Rob Peters! There’s loads of SOCOM, Sniper, and Pilot interviews, so this submarine story was a nice change, and no less interesting than the door kickers. Huh, what do we want next? So many interesting interviews to be done yet…
Not a Vet but I have listened to nearly every episode.

Ryan, I love what you do! You are a great interviewer and the guests you have on vary in specializations and backgrounds and it so fascinating to hear these experiences. Thank you to all the men and women who served. And to the vets who come on here to share your story. While I likely reside on the opposite political end of the spectrum, from most who participate and listen to this podcast, I have the utmost respect and admiration for all of you. Lastly, I have a coworker a former Marine infantryman and National guard tank commander. He’s a great person and friend. He is involved with The Combat Veteran Motorcycle Association. They participate in charities and support each other social through their events. The lost a member very recently due to what they believe was TBI related. He was a Navy Corpsman and served with the Marines, he was in treatment at the VA for TBI but unfortunately it didn’t help to the degree they had hoped. Though I did not know him I was saddened and moved when my coworker spoke about him. Speaking with my coworker I mentioned your podcasts and your guests who have resources outside of the VA for all different types of support. I asked him if it would be ok to reach out to you in regard to the recent tragedy in their community. Do you happen you have a list comprehensive list of these veteran organizations that I can share with him and in turn their organization? Again Thank you all for your service commitment and sacrifice. From a sincere American Citizen. Zack DeFelice

I listen to many podcasts on my commute to and from work, but Combat Story is my absolute favorite. Ryan is an excellent interviewer, and the quality of his guests is second to none. Keep up the great work Ryan, you fill a void that many of us vets have been trying to fill. Thank you , especially for the Just Cause stories. Pviolette95b
