I love Rachel and Eugene. I just would like some sort of update on Ryan and his work with the team.

The guest today said repeatedly that Trump won in a landslide when he did not even quite get to 50%. He won by the a much smaller percentage. Another assertion she made was that Democrats were the ones who brought up the trans issues, which is debatable. Why just totally agree to that? I get that it’s worth it to get the politicians on, but isn’t it worth a bit of pushback on obviously false statements. I know this happens on both sides. I just wish there was more effort to get politicians off their talking points.

I’ve listened for years, and it used to be one of my favorite podcasts. i’m still very interested in the topics and the guests. For a long time now, I can’t bear to listen anymore. Why so much chortling? They’re not funny subjects. I often have the impression that Ryan and the new guy just like having the inside track and being able to ask important people questions. I also feel like the questions are more about the game now than the substance of the subject. I still try to listen when I see an interesting episode, but frankly I can’t stand the persistent giggling or the silly gossipy questions anymore. I miss when it was serious, straightforward, and good. I don’t understand why you changed. It’s neither a comedy nor about how cool you are, or at least I wish it were not. I wish I could still listen to it. I wish it was still good, serious, and straightforward.
