Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: San Juan, PR. Onsite.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Job Summary:

Strategic bank International Corp, wishes to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial aspects of the bank and drive the organization’s financial strategy. This strategic role includes financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The CFO will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and will collaborate with executive leadership to support the entity’s financial objectives and growth plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the organization’s goals and growth plans.
• Financial Management: Oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to regulators, auditors and key stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with baking operations. Implement robust risk management practices and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Investment Oversight: Evaluate investment opportunities and manage the capital structure to optimize the entity’s financial performance and growth.
• Financial Operations: Oversee the finance and accounting departments, ensuring effective financial controls and processes are in place.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax obligations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters, collaborating with the board of directors, auditors, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar financial leadership role within a bank.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop financial strategies and manage complex financial operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and stakeholders.
