Lindsey is a licensed clinical social worker and avid mental health advocate. Lindsey received her BA in Sociology from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX, and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Lindsey has worked in mental health and substance abuse since obtaining her graduate degree in 2011. Lindsey specializes in trauma, attachment, grief and loss, maternal mental health, and substance use disorder. Lindsey empowers her clients to achieve and maintain sobriety by treating attachment wounds and repairing the damage caused by trauma to the limbic system. Lindsey utilizes various evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, somatic experiencing, narrative therapy, bibliotherapy, psychodynamic therapy, experiential therapy, art therapy, and psychoanalysis.
Through her therapeutic work, Lindsey assists her clients in developing the lifelong coping skills needed to live a healthy and happy life.
