One Father's Story: A Journey into Uncertainty For over 50 days, Israel has laid siege to North Gaza, plunging Palestinian children, women, and men into a living nightmare. Amidst apocalyptic scenes, people struggle to survive without sufficient food, water, and essential aid. The scale of death, destruction, and deprivation is unimaginable. This is the direct testimony of a former desalination plant worker, supported by Oxfam. He recounts his journey to Gaza City with his family after being displaced from their home in North Gaza. Traveling with a large crowd, they faced enormous challenges along the way. For 15 days, they endured severely depleted resources, with limited water and very little food. In extremely difficult conditions, they moved together for safety.

Today’s High Court hearing delayed any decisions in the case calling for the UK Government to end arms sales to Israel until January. But the people of Gaza cannot wait. Despite admitting that there is a clear risk that UK arms could be used in violations of international law, the UK Government has suspended only 30 arms licences out of 350 – and left a loophole that allows them to continue exporting parts to Israel for F-35 fighter jets, which are being used to bomb Gaza.
