Highlighting a few shared ideas:   🔒 Cybersecurity is critical Cybercrime and fraud are rapidly evolving with new technologies as bad actors are quick to exploit these powerful tools.   📈 Growth potential With cybercrime costs measured in trillions and the cybersecurity market still in the billions, the gap is evident - and so is the room for growth. Additionally, current geopolitical tensions, further highlight the growing need for robust cybersecurity measures.   💼 Regulation driving investment Regulatory changes are already shaping investment strategies. Regulations like the Cyber Resilience Act and DORA are introducing stricter requirements. (The investment round 33N Ventures led recently at Exein is an example of this)   💡 Emerging technologies reshaping cybersecurity Artificial intelligence is already transforming the cybersecurity landscape - and we cannot afford to overlook its impact, particularly on the darker side of cyber threats. Quantum computing, while likely a decade away, will also revolutionize encryption and data security. Organizations handling long-term sensitive data must start preparing for its effects now.   Advice for cybersecurity startups: 🏆 Be unique and offer transformative solutions. Don’t just be slightly better - be truly innovative and AI-proof. 🌐 Have a clear global market strategy and communicate effectively to international audiences. 🥌 Prove your capabilities in the most demanding markets early on. What are the *trends* across infrastructure software as we enter the last quarter of 2024? As we looked into recent high-level funding trends, we draw a few conclusions: 📈 Infrastructure software saw a decline in VC funding in 2023, but year-to-date data for 2024 shows an upward trend. North America leads in deals (consistently 70-80% of deals), followed by Europe (20-25%) and Israel. 🌐 The UK leads in deal count, but France in deal value within Europe 🚀 AI/ML tools received c. 50% of total investment in infra, with AI security and code co-pilots leading in subcategories - aligned with enterprise demand outlook for 2025 ✈ Reach out to the team for finer detail conclusions and opinions!
