I'm proud that Modus Health StepWatch is helping Amparo with Adapttech measure the impact of their prosthetics on those who have been injured in Gaza. The BBC article recounts Rizeq Tafish's reaction to his first steps after amputation, "My feelings before were sadness and despair. Now I feel happiness and freedom." Rizeq's words capture why many of us choose to work in fields that give people back their freedom of movement. Modus Health licensed StepWatch to Adapttech in 2021 to better serve patients with lower limb prosthetics. It is fantastic seeing them succeed in improving people's lives. Amparo Empowers Amputees in Gaza: Restoring Hope We're proud to be part of the Restoring Hope initiative, a groundbreaking initiative that's bringing hope and mobility to amputees in Gaza. This collaborative effort, conceived and led by Life Science Network, implementation by the Jordanian Royal Medical Services and supported by ground-breaking Amparo technology, as well as by companies Koalaa soft prosthetics, Adapttech, and Hakeem, is making a significant impact.
