🚀🛡️ Today, the Portuguese Space Ecosystem convened at the 2nd Edition of "Domínio Espaço na Defesa", to discuss the integration of space technologies into national defense capabilities, featuring valuable insights from Estado-Maior-General das Forças Armadas, Marinha Portuguesa - Página Oficial, Exército Português, and the Força Aérea Portuguesa | Portuguese Air Force. AED Cluster Portugal also provided a comprehensive vision of the entire national ecosystem and space context and Agência Espacial Portuguesa presented a thought-provoking session on concerns surrounding space militarization, Portugal’s role among international institutional actors, and how the New Space Economy fits into this broader context. The event also showcased real-world examples from innovative companies like LusoSpace , N3O, and connected, sharing insights into technological advancements. The afternoon included B2B sessions where members of the ecosystem engaged in productive meetings to explore new opportunities for partnership and collaboration. From the 22nd to the 24th of October, AED Cluster Portugal led the national presence at #MROEurope, the leading event for the commercial aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul industry in Europe!
