November Spotlight at Build Up Labs 🎉 With all the excitement around Web Summit, November was a big month for the Portuguese startup ecosystem. But what made it special for us was seeing so many of our startups hit amazing milestones. Here are a few that stood out: 👉 Intuitivo – They won the PITCH competition at Web Summit! Congratulations again to João, Duarte, and the team for this incredible achievement. It’s been amazing to support your journey over the years and watch you grow to this level. Well-deserved! 👉 Synexis – Big congrats to Pavel Vinitsky, PhD, Founder and CEO of Synexis, for taking third place at a major AI competition in San Francisco. Another huge moment for Pavel and the team! 👉 Sheeper – The best app to find deals officially launched this month! Filipe Simões and Rafael Francisco are off to a great start, with notable growth and collaborations with influencers already out. 🌍 Building Bridges for Innovation: Portugal x Uzbekistan On Web Summit, we had the privilege of hosting Farkhod Ibragimov, CEO of IT PARK Uzbekistan, as part of his official visit to Portugal. Together, we explored exciting opportunities to support the growth of Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem. 🤝 We’re especially proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation, marking the start of a promising partnership. Uzbek startups will gain access to Build Up Labs’ expertise, network, and events, setting the stage for their expansion into new markets. This collaboration underscores our commitment to driving innovation around the globe.

Alongside Startup Portugal, Unicorn Factory Lisboa, and 351 Portuguese Startup Association, moderated by Pierre Gein, we explored the vibrant landscape of Lisbon’s startup scene.
