PhD candidate in Biomedicine | iBiMED - University of Aveiro

Early 2025 will mark the completion of my PhD and the start of a new professional adventure (which both excites and scares me). Although that moment hasn’t arrived just yet, I already have so many people to thank for their guidance and support. One crucial moment was my career mentoring session with Raquel Pinho, PhD, facilitated by the fantastic platform Chaperone, particularly through Pedro Resende and Rita Brás. This opportunity came as part of the prize for my best poster presentation at the VII IBiMED Symposium last May, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Raquel’s generosity and invaluable advice during our session made a real difference. I wholeheartedly recommend her and Chaperone to any scientist seeking career guidance or support!
