Internationally traded energy: the missing link to cost-effective, eco-friendly power.

🔌 Another project installed! The installation of the #photovoltaic plant of the #RenewableEnergyCommunity (REC) of O Móvel de Condeixa, Lda, in Condeixa-a-Nova, is complete. This installation allows the company to reduce its ecological footprint and promote the sharing of resources among the members of the Community. This REC will guarantee greater energy independence and support in the fight against energy poverty. 🌿 O Móvel has installed a 54 kWp photovoltaic plant and secured: ✅ An energy tariff reduction of around 48% ✅ 14 tons of CO2 avoided every year ✅ A tariff reduction for 20 families and companies in the region, 🔋 Let’s keep shaping the future of #sustainable energy together. * 🔌 Mais um projeto instalado! A instalação da central #fotovoltaica da #ComunidadedeEnergiaRenovável (CER) d’O Móvel, em Condeixa-a-Nova, está concluída. Esta instalação permite a redução da pegada ecológica do cliente âncora e promove a partilha de recursos entre os membros da Comunidade. Vai também garantir maior independência energética e apoiar o combate à pobreza energética. 🌿 Ao instalar uma central de 54 kWp, O Móvel assegura: ✅ Redução da tarifa energética de cerca de 48% ✅ 14 toneladas de CO2 evitadas anualmente ✅ Redução da tarifa de 20 famílias e negócios na região. 🔋 Vamos continuar a construir o futuro da energia #sustentável juntos.

The results are in: solar in Portugal breaks new records 🏆 ☀️🔌 DGEG, the main regulatory entity in Portugal, has recently shed some light in the installation of #PV centrals in the last year and the results are clear: #solar energy is not going anywhere soon. With a striking 47% increase compared to the previous year, 2024 saw 1.77 GW installed in solar centrals. When compared to previous years, installations in the last decade grew from 0.46 GW to 5.6 GW. 🔋 The heavy investment directed at #renewable solutions and a regular decrease in technology prices can be blamed for this shift that doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon. * Os resultados já são conhecidos: a energia solar em Portugal bate novos recordes 🏆 ☀️🔌 A DGEG, a principal entidade reguladora em Portugal, lançou recentemente alguma luz sobre a instalação de centrais #FV no último ano e os resultados são claros: a energia #solar não vai desaparecer tão cedo. Com um impressionante aumento de 47% em comparação com o ano anterior, em 2024 foram instalados 1,77 GW em centrais solares. Quando comparadas com os anos anteriores, as instalações na última década cresceram de 0,46 GW para 5,6 GW. 🔋 O forte investimento direcionado para soluções #renováveis e uma diminuição dos preços da tecnologia podem ser responsabilizados por esta mudança que não parece que vá desaparecer tão cedo.

Energy consumption should be an informed decision. 📅 Last week we had the pleasure to be joined by the Secretary of State for Energy, Maria João Pereira, in Linda-a-Velha, Lisbon. Together with the Externato Padre António Vieira, we held an informative session about #EnergyCommunities: what they are, how they work, who can join and what do members gain from it.
