In a recent article published in the Social Inclusion journal of Cogitatio Press, Caglar Akar, Doğa Başar Sarıipek, and Gökçe Cerev used the #FragileStatesIndex indicators as independent variables in forecasting future intrastate armed conflicts worldwide. Out of the 177 countries considered in the study, 43 are projected to experience internal armed conflict between now and 2032.
