Today our #ENACT colleagues have been presenting the project to the Spanish Security User Community (CoU Spain) headed by CDTI Innovación - Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación, showcasing ENACT as a vital resource for understanding #FCT dynamics and supporting applicants in delivering high-quality research. Additionally, our team moderated a dedicated session on #FCT R&I, where insights from ENACT’s Advanced Report #1 were shared. ❗ Synergy Announcement ❗ European Network Against Crime and Terrorism (ENACT) is a knowledge network focused on the fight against crime and terrorism (FCT). The project is coordinated by the Polícia Judiciária and secures the participation of 12 partners overall. The network aims to collect, aggregate, process, disseminate and make the most of the existing knowledge in the FCT area. ⚡ The final #ENACT Flash Report of 2024 is now available! Drug Production, Distribution, and Forensics Research in Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe is the 4th ENACT Flash Report. The report was commissioned by the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA), formerly known as the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) until July 2024. This report is structured around three key pillars:  🔹 Drug production 🔹 Drug distribution 🔹 Drug forensics It specifically highlights research projects funded under the European research programmes #Horizon2020 and #HorizonEurope that concentrate on these critical domains. 📰 Press Release: ENACT Supports Security Innovation Award Winners European Network Against Crime and Terrorism (ENACT), funded under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme, is providing financial support to cutting-edge initiatives recognised for their excellence in the fight against crime and terrorism (FCT). ENACT is dedicated to fostering innovation and collaboration across Europe, supporting projects that drive impactful solutions for law enforcement, academia, and industry. This year, we are proud to support four outstanding projects, each paving the way for advancements in security and public safety: 🔹 T4i DOVER – Provides reliable chemical detection during drone flights by addressing challenges related to speed and sudden changes of altitude, temperature and humidity affecting the detection performance. 🔹 Safer Communities: Community Policing in Lisbon – Involves a set of specific communication and planning instruments to support and engage key decision-makers in the strategic planning and delivery of the Lisbon Community Policing model. 🔹 CRYPTOPOL – A cryptocurrency-tracing training game that provides a gamified cryptocurrency investigation simulation with hands-on practice emphasising real-life investigative scenarios. 🔹 Drug Hunter Narcotic Analyser – A novel and fast technical solution for rapid drug detection. “Supporting innovation in the fight against crime and terrorism is essential to ensuring the safety and security of our communities across Europe” shared Luísa Proença, ENACT Coordinator at PJ | Polícia Judiciária.
