Honored to share with you that I have assumed the role of President FORTE | Federation of Orthopaedic and Trauma Trainees in Europe. 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of FORTE, a truly international, multicultural and inclusive Scientific Society made up of motivated young orthopedic surgeons from 28 different Nations. Leading young European orthopedic surgeons makes me proud and I assure my deepest commitment to making FORTE even greater. I ask all members and those who want to join this project to work together and with enthusiasm to make us better people and surgeons. Learning and networking in a wonderful setting. Stay FORTE!

FORTE @ SOROT in Transylvania over Halloween 🎃 👻

Last September, we had the privilege of organizing another edition of our Traveling Fellowship on Knee Pathology in Portugal. It was with great pleasure that we welcomed our fellows, Dr. Alexandra Leenders and Dr. Baris Koc, for a memorable "knee" experience 👌 where they had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in this field of orthopedics. We hope they both enjoyed this unique opportunity, which included attending knee surgeries at several centers in Lisbon, Santiago do Cacém, and Leiria, as well as visiting the Human Performance Department at Sport Lisboa e Benfica. This fellowship was a success, and it would not have been possible without the support of our hosts, Dr. Luís Machado and Dr. Francisco Requicha, to whom we give our special thanks. At FORTE, we thank everyone who contributed with their commitment and enthusiasm, making this important initiative a reality. This is what drives us forward.
