🌿 Mesosystem at the Blue Bio Ideation Program: Commitment to Innovation and Sustainability 🌍 Mesosystem is proud to announce its participation in the Blue Bio Ideation Program, an initiative dedicated to accelerating innovative ideas in Research, Development, and Technology. This strategically significant project was developed in collaboration with leading institutions, including the University of the Azores, LAQV-Requimte, and UCIBIO-Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade do Porto, forming an interdisciplinary and impactful network. As part of this program, we presented a groundbreaking project in the field of circular economy, turning environmental challenges into innovative and sustainable solutions. Using advanced technological approaches, we developed a process to extract active ingredients from underutilized resources and by-products that are often regarded as environmental issues. These active ingredients are transformed into eco-friendly raw materials, which can either be directly commercialized or incorporated into high-value-added cosmetic products. This solution stands out for significantly reducing the environmental footprint while ensuring a cost-effective approach to sourcing raw materials. Its positive impact spans the entire value chain, addressing the growing demand for sustainable solutions in global markets.
