Na semana passada, o OMIP - The Iberian Energy Derivatives Exchange esteve presente na Conferência Anual da ACEMEL, um evento que reuniu cerca de 130 participantes. Esta foi uma excelente oportunidade para destacar a relevância da marca OMIP enquanto instrumento fundamental de hedging, ao serviço de todos os agentes do mercado de eletricidade e gás natural. 📣📊 Results of the 25th Auction GO-PT In the last Portuguese auction, 3.85 TWh were sold, distributed over 5 lots based on technological criteria (solar, wind, hydro and thermal) and production period (June, July and August 2024). A total of 26 European entities participated, with a maximum value of €0.32/MWh for wind energy and a minimum value of €0.28/MWh for thermal energy. The financial result of the auction amounted to 1.19 million euros, which will be deducted from the renewable energy surcharges borne by Portuguese consumers. OMIP - The Iberian Energy Derivatives Exchange is responsible for managing and operating the Portuguese auctions, an activity that began in July 2021 and has so far traded approximately 80.23 TWh.
