WEG Benelux has launched a new assembly line at its warehouse facility in Nivelles, Belgium. The €350,000 investment will enable WEG Benelux to assemble the WG20 geared motor series on site, significantly reducing lead times for customers in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The WG20 series is a state-of-the-art range of helical, parallel shaft and helical bevel gear units with torques ranging from 50 to 18,000 Nm. The range is designed, manufactured and assembled entirely in house at WEG. The new line at the warehouse in Belgium will initially focus on the assembly of extra small (XS), small (S) and medium (M) WG20 models up to a maximum capacity of 1,500 Nm. To make this possible, WEG Benelux has invested €350,000 of expenditure into new equipment such as tooling and presses, and the creation of an extensive inventory of spare parts. For WEG Benelux, the investment in the WG20 assembly line ensures the branch can deliver to key customers in the food and beverage, packaging, infrastructure industries and more. In fact, the new line will reduce lead times from an average of eight to ten weeks down to just two weeks for customers in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg. WEG Pinturas marca presencia en el Coatings Summit 2025 en Singapur!   El evento comenzó con una acogedora recepción para los aproximadamente 80 participantes del evento, realizado en Singapur.   Promovido por Vincentz Network GmbH & Co. KG y el World Coatings Council (WCC), el Summit reunió a un grupo selecto de CEOs y altos ejecutivos de la industria de pinturas de América del Norte, Europa, Asia y Oceanía. Este evento es una plataforma crucial para el intercambio de experiencias y la discusión de tendencias que moldean el futuro del sector.   Representando a Brasil y América Latina, tuvimos el honor de contar con Luiz Cornacchioni, presidente ejecutivo de ABRAFATI OFICIAL (y presidente de LATINPIN), y Rafael Torezan, director superintendente de WEG Pinturas y miembro del Consejo Directivo de Abrafati. En la foto, ambos aparecen junto a Daniel Murad, de The ChemQuest Group, Inc., simbolizando la importancia de la colaboración global.   La apertura del evento fue realizada por Tom Bowtell, presidente del WCC, quien destacó la relevancia del Summit y la calidad de los ponentes. WEG, Türkiye'de Yeni Bir Fabrikaya Daha Yatırım Yapıyor! WEG, Manisa'da 28 milyon € yatırımla yeni bir redüktör fabrikası kurarak Türkiye’deki üretim kapasitesini artırmayı ve Avrupa’daki stratejik konumunu güçlendirmeyi planlıyor. Manisa’da kurulacak olan tesis, endüstriyel motorlarla entegrasyon fırsatları sunarak sektördeki talebi karşılamayı hedefliyor. 2027’de tamamlanacak yatırım Türkiye’de 150 yeni istihdam yaratacak. WEG ayrıca, Volt Elektrik Motorları'nı (Volt WEG Group) satın alarak operasyonlarını genişletirken, bu süreçte Volt WEG Group'u, T.C. Cumhurbaşkanlığı Yatırım Ofisi Başkan Yardımcısı Bekir Polat ve Cumhurbaşkanlığı Yatırım Ofisi Proje Müdürü Fatih Çelik de ziyaret etti. Ziyaret sırasında fabrikanın detaylı bir gezisi yapıldı ve geleceğe yönelik planlar hakkında kapsamlı bir görüşme gerçekleştirildi. WEG plans to enhance its production capacity in Türkiye and strengthen its strategic position in Europe by establishing a new gearbox factory in Manisa with an investment of €28 million. The facility, to be built in Manisa, aims to meet industry demand by offering integration opportunities with industrial motors. This investment, set to be completed by 2027, will create 150 new jobs in Türkiye. Additionally, WEG has expanded its operations by acquiring Volt Electric Motors (Volt WEG Group). During this process, Volt WEG Group was honored to host Bekir Polat, Vice President of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, and Fatih Çelik, Project Manager at the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye. A detailed tour of the factory was conducted during their visit, followed by an extensive discussion of future plans.
