An Organization is a living system - made up of actors and interactions that extend far beyond the obvious or immediately visible. Its foundations stretch further than the boardroom, the consumer, or the product itself, encompassing a broader and more interconnected ecosystem. The importance of breaking down the usual silos between branding and organizational culture becomes evident when we step into each other’s shoes. This shift in perspective fosters a more integrated understanding of the challenges faced by each discipline, revealing new paths forward. What is often overlooked as an issue — the lack of transdisciplinarity or integration between branding and organizational culture — becomes clear as a source of entropy and misalignment between an organization’s internal and external dimensions. The transformation we envision for society must begin within the organizations that shape it. Even the smallest steps matter - becoming aware of the problem, recognizing the role we play, and understanding the position we hold are the essential starting points for meaningful change. Conscious by Design brought together people from diverse fields, generations, organizations, and disciplines to explore and practice what it means to shape organizations while crossing Branding and Organizational Culture. We worked, learned, and grew together, expanding our views with frameworks, tools, and methods that reflect what we truly believe in, to be in company. Reflecting on these transformative two days? Last Thursday we proudly opened our doors at With Company to launch Future Days 2025 — a global platform that gathers the world wherever it goes to envision and activate better futures. Next year’s edition will once again bring everyone to Lisbon and Estufa Fria, offering an immersive, activatable, and branded experience, thoughtfully designed to catalyze positive change Towards Symbiotic Futures. The team unveiled next year’s themes and inspirations: “Urban Porosities,” “Micro and Multispecies Politics,” and “Collective Intelligence.” Attendees can look forward to Dialogues, Labs, Inspirations, Networking, Open Debates, a Garden Gallery, and an Un(Conference) — all curated with heart and soul, brought to life by an outstanding panel of speakers representing a rich spectrum of knowledge and perspectives. Last year, our Systemic Thinking for Innovation trial with Porto Business School sparked significant interest and curiosity. That initial enthusiasm has fueled the launch of this year’s first full edition and we couldn’t be happier to see it unfold from this month on. Through this program, we expand on our core ambitions in lifelong learning and knowledge-sharing. For us, this means building transformative experiences that challenge mindsets, provide experimental tools, and connect people with solutions for an increasingly complex world. This course is designed to offer exactly that. As one of the first formats of its kind in Portugal, Systemic Thinking for Innovation pioneers a new approach to strategic thinking within the university landscape. It’s a program focused on practical, forward-thinking applications, equipping decision-makers with the insights and methodologies to map systems, uncover hidden patterns, and identify breakthrough opportunities within value chains. By immersing participants in systemic thinking, we address the forces, patterns, and relationships that shape complex environments, fostering innovative approaches to deal with today’s world's wicked problems. We are honored to partner with Porto Business School, a visionary institution whose commitment to "thought" matches ours. Their embrace of this program reflects a dedication to relevant, innovative, and strategic thinking - one that is forward-looking and deeply committed to the possibilities of transformation. KAOSPILOT is an internationally recognized school of leadership and entrepreneurship, known for its innovative and human-centered approach to education. Ranked among the world’s top design and innovation schools, Kaospilot entitles students to push boundaries through creativity, social impact, and value-driven entrepreneurship. The Outpost program allows Kaospilot students to fully immerse themselves in the cultural and social fabric of a city, engaging in cross-cultural collaborations that merge their knowledge with hands-on, real-world experience. Over eight weeks, each team dedicates its expertise to self-chosen projects, working alongside real partners to make a real impact. We are part of a Berlin-based initiative that empowers international communities to engage with the city’s democratic processes and social fabric. Another is Future Days, an essential partner in our ecosystem, dedicated to a festival that paves new ways of building the future through systemic thinking. As we embark on these collaborative projects, we combine our strengths and shared values of empathy, creativity, and sustainability.
