A "Fundación ”la Caixa””, em colaboração com o Banco BPI, atribuiu nove bolsas de doutoramento e pós-doutoramento a investigadores portugueses de excelência para que desenvolvam os seus projetos em universidades e centros de investigação de Portugal e Espanha. A eles juntam-se outros 96 investigadores que também estão a levar a cabo os seus projetos em centros de investigação e universidades da Península Ibérica. As bolsas de doutoramento INPhINIT e as de pós-doutoramento Junior Leader da Fundação “la Caixa” têm o duplo objetivo de reter e atrair talento para promover a investigação de excelência nos dois países. Além de proporcionarem aos investigadores salários competitivos, estas bolsas oferecem formação transversal. No caso dos doutoramentos, são reforçados aspetos como a comunicação científica, o bem-estar emocional do investigador, a integridade na investigação e as oportunidades de financiamento. Já em relação às bolsas de pós-doutoramento, o objetivo passa por favorecer a adoção de uma carreira científica independente como opção de futuro profissional, a par de promover a inovação e a liderança. New Post: The British Academy: Funding call, Global Innovation Fellowships C40 - https://lnkd.in/d7vgRkie call: Global Innovation Fellowships C40 The British Academy is now inviting applications to the Global Innovation Fellowships C40. The programme is supported under the UK government’s International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF). The £337m fund is designed to enable potential and foster prosperity. It puts research and innovation at the heart of our international relationships, supporting UK researchers and innovators to work with peers around the world on the major themes of our time: planet, health, tech, and talent. The fund is managed by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) and delivered by a consortium of the UK’s leading research and innovation bodies. The objective of the Global Innovation Fellowships is to provide opportunities to UK-based early- and mid-career researchers from across the humanities and social sciences to develop their skills, networks and careers in the creative and cultural, public, private and policy sectors to address challenges that require innovative approaches and solutions. Through the Global Innovation Fellowships, researchers in the SHAPE community will be supported to create new and deeper links beyond academia, so enabling knowledge mobilisation and translation, as well as individual skills development.   Aims     This is the first call for this Official Development Assistance (ODA) strand of the programme, offering opportunities for ODA Global Innovation Fellowship award-holders to embed themselves with C40, in their South Africa office. Applications that are not considered ODA-eligible will not be taken forward through the assessment process. C40 is a global network of nearly 100 mayors of the world’s leading cities that are united in action to confront the climate crisis. Mayors of C40 cities are committed to using an inclusive, science-based and collaborative approach to cut their fair share of emissions in half by 2030, help the world limit global heating to 1.5°C, and build healthy, equitable and resilient communities.
