Just started using soy oil applied to the skin to see effects as a mosquito bite deterrent. After just one day it's working. Would like to know of any negative reasons not to apply to skin other than nut allergies.

The existence of soybean oil intolerance is being ignored. When you try to search for it online, all you get is useless information about soy allergy, which is completely different. For those who are soybean oil intolerant, symptoms include extreme bloating and explosive diarrhea, hot flashes due to phytoestrogens that also aren't digested, and possibly vomiting, lethargy, and headaches. Please do not ignore this condition. It is exceedingly painful but because there is little information available,... including it's existence even, it can be difficult to figure out that it's a person's problem. Read More Read Less

My wife has been using it. When I walk in the closed bedroom there is the odor of stale cigarettes.

Soy is a migraine trigger for me. Not many people know that about soy products.
