🇪🇺 Today, in Brussels, Angela Achitei, president of the ADV Romania Group, facilitated an important meeting with MEP Dan Barna (Renew Europe Group, USR Romania) and European networks including the ENSIE NETWORK, Social Economy Europe, EASPD - European Association of Service providers for Persons with Disabilities, and CECOP-Cicopa Europe. 🎯 The discussions focused on implementing the Social Economy Action Plan #SEAP through the renewal of the Social Economy Intergroup (SEIG) and the appointment of a Commissioner dedicated to this sector. ✅ Dan Barna assured us of his full support in this endeavor, and we greatly appreciate the quality of dialogue and the time he dedicated to us. 📌 The meeting was part of the European B-WISE Conference, marking the conclusion of the project of the same name. Over the course of two days in Athens, the #baSE project team is working diligently to prepare the first 10 online courses dedicated to the social economy sector. These courses, accessible via a #MOOC platform, aim to reach as many social entrepreneurs and actors as possible across Europe and beyond. Covering a wide range of complex and relevant topics, the courses will be tailored to the needs of social economy organizations, targeting both social enterprise managers and specialists. The innovative approach will include best practices, engaging video content, handouts, learning materials, and much more. Upon completion, participants will have the opportunity to earn a European-recognized certificate, following an assessment process. The #baSE course catalogue is taking shape!💻📘 The baSE project consortium is hard at work developing a series of #MOOC courses aimed at addressing the training needs of national clusters by identifying and filling key training gaps. The catalogue emphasizes the connection between the new #SocioComp framework—developed by the baSE project—and other key European Competence Frameworks like #EntreComp, #DigiComp, and #GreenComp, creating a comprehensive #MetaComp model for the future of work. With a focus on innovative, hands-on teaching methods for adult learners, this comprehensive training program equips professionals with the skills needed for the digital, green, and fair transitions ahead. 🌍 On a national level, together with our partners from Centrul pentru Legislație Nonprofit, we are currently developing a MOOC course titled "Assess the social impact of Social Economy Organisations."
