This year, we're bringing the community together through surrealism and diversity, all with the help of a selection made from over 400 talented artists that applied from 47 different countries, each showcasing their unique perspective through 440 distinct concepts. Just one town. Two editions. Five continents. 22 countries. Over 180 artists. And 4800 square metres painted. Artown Festival. That's what our festival would look like if we were to put it into numbers. But we're not just about the figures. Instead we are taking art out onto the streets so that we can offer it to people as a resource they can use to rethink their city in new ways. The Artown Festival is an urban and social manifesto, brought to you by the Asociația buchARTest. It's all about creating a different, lively and colourful world in the urban organism. We curate a festival that builds bridges, unites communities and shows what can be achieved when artists work together. All of this while we continue our mission to change the cultural landscape of Ploiești.
