Finergreen congratulates its client HAALA | Energy on completing its Series A funding round, securing SAR 28.5 million to support its growing solar pipeline in Saudi Arabia.

Finergreen is delighted to announce that we have supported UNITe group in signing a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Air Liquide to supply renewable electricity for its Air Liquide Normand’Hy large-scale renewable hydrogen production project located near the Port of Le Havre. Under this agreement, Air Liquide will purchase 100% of the electricity generated by a ground-mounted solar power plant which is scheduled to be commissioned by 2026. Finergreen is proud to have advised UNITe group in the origination and structuration of their first PPA and to contribute to the development of the green hydrogen sector in France. 👉 Have you ever heard about the Fondation Synergie Renouvelable? This charitable fund of the French renewable energy sector is dedicated to supporting energy access projects in developing countries. To date, it has funded over 185 projects across 40 countries, benefiting 1.6 million people. Recently and thanks to the support of Finergreen, the Foundation launched the “biogas altiplano” project in Guatemala, aimed at improving the social, nutritional and economic living conditions of Maya communities, by installing communal bio-digesters. These systems produce biogas for cooking and biol (organic fertilizer), and offer multiple benefits: ✅ Reduced reliance on wood and gas; ✅ Increased crop yields with organic fertilizer; ✅ New income opportunities from selling boil as a fertilizer. At Finergreen, we have been a long-standing partner of Synergie Renouvelable with Damien Ricordeau, Chairman, belonging to the Foundation’s Board since 2017, and Alain Renaud, CEO, member of the steering committee. Beyond our strategic involvement, we actively contribute through fundraising initiatives, such as the Foot Solaire tournament organized with Manita, and the annual dinner of the Foundation. In December 2024, the South African Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) announced the results of the Battery Energy Storage Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (BESIPPPP) 2nd Bid Window. The Request for Proposal for Bid Window 2 seeks the procurement of 615 MW of fixed battery storage capacity across 8 substations in the North-West, Gauteng and Free State provinces of South Africa aimed at alleviating grid constraints in the region. Three IPPs (Mulilo, AMEA Power and EDF) have been awarded as Preferred Bidders for the 8 projects. Congratulations to the winners! In December 2024, the South African government announced the results of the South Africa Renewable Energy Independent Power Procurement Program (REIPPPP) 7th Bid window. A total of 1,800 MW of solar PV and 3,200 MW of wind capacity are available for procurement, with 1,760 MW from eight solar PV projects already awarded to Infinity Power, Scatec ASA and Mulilo. Congratulations to the winners! In addition, the government has approved the reallocation of MW from the Onshore Wind allocation to Solar PV, which may lead to the announcement of additional preferred bidders. This transaction marks the exit of Green Creative's historical shareholders, including Alter Equity and Scientipole Capital, which Finergreen supported as exclusive financial advisor. Led by Lucile NOURY, Green Creative commercializes innovative and state-of-the-art depackaging and filtration solutions for the production of high-quality organic pulp through biowaste recovery. Green Creative’s technology deployment has been instrumental in the development of the biogas industry in Europe, acting as a key partner to biogas plant operators in their effort to diversify their feedstock supplies. Through this new strategic partnership, Green Creative reinforces its financial capacity thanks to the capital increase from its shareholders. Building on an existing track record of 60 installed units in France, the company aims to triple its revenue within the next five years. Finergreen congratulates its client ENERGIES DE LOIRE on the successful completion of their €15M capital raise with ISALT. Since its inception in 2018, Energies de Loire has been developing, building, and operating photovoltaic solar units with capacities ranging from 100 to 500 kW across the Pays de la Loire and Bretagne regions. This first capital raise will enable the group to accelerate its growth trajectory, targeting over 850 MW of operational capacity by 2030, while also diversifying its client base and asset portfolio. We are proud to have supported this highly committed local player in advancing the energy transition in Western France. We are glad to announce that we have advised ib vogt, during the sale of a 66MWp solar PV project located in Ballószög, Hungary. The agreement has been signed on 18 December with Hungarian MOL Group. Construction works are finished, and trial runs are expected to start in January 2025. The solar farm will begin commercial operation in Q1 2025. We would like to thank ib vogt GmbH for their trust.
