Anul trecut am avut marea bucurie să lucrez la un proiect pe care, de la începuturile lui, l-am simțit în acord cu valorile mele. Un proiect îndreptat spre oameni, comunități, spre acele inițiative și organizații care fac bine și își asumă un rol activ în societate. Community Index Magazine este prima și singura publicație bilingvă dedicată proiectelor de investiții în comunități care, anul ăsta, a ajuns la a 6-a ediție! Ediția din acest an conține peste 850 proiecte analizate, 153 de distincții, 21 de categorii, 11 studii de caz și o selecție specială dedicată inovației, cu interviuri exclusive alături de experți locali și internaționali. Oana Filip redefinește și aduce un sens aparte conceptului de „comunitate” prin newsletterul @Lipici în Comunitate, Alexandru Muresan și Dacian Jurj, PhD, care, prin viziunea lor îndrăzneață, au lansat RENERGIA, o platformă digitală dedicată reducerii consumului de energie din România. Dar și pe Sabina Mihailescu, care, prin ÎntreVecini, vrea să readucă acel sentiment de apartenență, calitate a vieții crescută și încredere în comunitățile de vecini din toată țara. Acești oameni îndrăzneți se află într-o companie selectă, alături de Inspirators precum: John Elkington, Esmeralda de Belgique, Steven Laureys MD PhD, Frances Valintine CNZM, Dr. Andreea Dutescu Vanacker, Kim Cameron, Sagarika Sriram, Antoinette Vermilye (she/her). 🌟 Exciting Milestone Alert! 🌟 On Monday we proudly presented the (almost) final results of our applied research project on energy communities! We are grateful to the EEA and Norway grants for the support they offered to EMERGE. Over the past months, we have led a dynamic consortium of six national and international partners to conduct in-depth technical, economic, and sociological research into the feasibility of energy communities in Alba Iulia, Crucea, and Buteni. We were thrilled to share the preliminary findings of this groundbreaking work with an audience of over 60 engaged participants—both online and offline—during a public workshop featuring distinguished guests: 🎙️ H.E. 🚀 Norwegian-Romanian Innovation in Action! 👏 Exciting day at Innovation Norway as Rannveig and Vidar from our EEA and Norway Grants team welcomed a Romanian delegation and their Norwegian partner Smart Innovation Norway! 🌍 The Bucharest University of Economic Studies - International Business and Economics presented the project @EMERGE (EMpowering Communities for EneRGy Transition Towards Carbon NEutrality in Romania) together with their partners Polytechnic University of Timisoara, the startup RENERGIA and three municipalities. ♻️ The National Institute for Research and Development of Isotopic and Molecular Technologies and Transylvania Energy Cluster presented some of the results from their project that is increasing cooperation on the green transition in the city of Cluj. The projects are financed from recent Open Call for Bilateral Cooperation in the Green Transition in Romania and implemented in cooperation with Smart Innovation Norway. 🚊 Today, they have travelled to Halden where they attend Smart Innovation Norway’s annual partnership conference and meet with Norwegian partners for future cooperation.
