This year’s campaign, “Together We Gift a Christmas in Colors to Blind Children,” brought the joy of inclusive holidays to the Special School “Moldova” in Târgu Frumos and the ANR Library in Botoșani! 🎄 The Christmas ornaments, inscribed with the tactile color alphabet, transformed colors into #emotions, giving visually impaired children a sense of belonging. 📣 Suntem onorați să vă invităm să participați la conferința internațională REHA FOR THE BLIND IN BUCHAREST. Acest eveniment major, organizat de Fundacja Szansa - Jesteśmy Razem - We Are Together (cunoscută anterior ca Chance for the Blind Foundation), Scripor Alphabet. Tactile Colors for the Blind și Altix Vision-Produse pentru nevăzători și slab văzători, va avea loc în perioada 9 - 10 septembrie 2024, la Bibilioteca Metropolitană, strada Viitorului, nr. 52, București. 💡 Ideea conferinței REHA FOR THE BLIND a fost concepută de Marek Kalbarczyk - inovator și manager nevăzător - și s-a bucurat de un mare interes încă de la prima ediție care a avut loc la Varșovia în anul 1999. De-a lungul timpului, au mai avut loc ediții internaționale la #București, #Minsk și #Kiev. Anul acesta, suntem încântați să fim prezenți din nou la București și invităm cu căldură toți participanții, cu sau fără deficiență de vedere, să se ni se alăture! 🦯🦮🧑🦯 Această conferință oferă o oportunitate unică de a construi o comunitate internațională a nevăzătorilor și persoanelor cu deficiențe de vedere. Este o ocazie excelentă pentru a face schimb de idei, de a împărtăși experiențe și a descoperi soluții eficiente pentru o viață mai bună. Programul conferinței 📆 Ziua 1: Prelegeri de specialitate privind deficiențele de vedere, axate pe șase subiecte principale: - Medicină pentru o viață mai bună; - Tehnologie și accesibilitate pentru a sprijini dizabilitatea; - Știința și cultura, modalități de a obține succesul; - Sportul și activitatea fizică; - Progresul prin politică și guvernare înțeleaptă; - ONG-urile ca ajutor în atingerea obiectivelor. 📆 Ziua 2: O expoziție de tehnologie care prezintă cele mai recente instrumente și metode pentru sprijinirea persoanelor cu deficiențe de vedere. În plus, vor fi disponibile mai multe ateliere, inclusiv unul care se concentrează pe sistemul de culori tactile al alfabetului Scripor. Acest atelier va prezenta aplicațiile practice și beneficiile alfabetului Scripor în diverse domenii pentru comunitatea nevăzătorilor. Această inovație oferă companiilor ocazia să dezvolte produse inclusive și accesibile din punct de vedere cromatic, pentru toți. 🌍 De asemenea, dorim să încurajăm furnizorii, producătorii și instituțiile care oferă servicii pentru nevăzători, să participe la REHA FOR THE BLIND IN BUCHAREST în calitate de expozanți. 🏆 În plus, evenimentul va include o ceremonie de premiere a câștigătorilor competiției IDOL, care onorează persoanele care au adus contribuții semnificative comunității nevăzătorilor și persoanelor cu deficiențe de vedere, servind un model de urmat pentru alții. The word “color” – regardless of language, dialect, culture, or geographic location – has been reduced to a unique, simple, and universal symbol. Color is represented by a combination of dots, allowing visually impaired individuals to distinguish colors through touch. Imagine the joy on athletes' faces as they know each color of the Olympic flag, standing proud alongside their peers. But the magic of the Scripor Alphabet. Tactile Colors for the Blind goes way beyond. It empowers individuals with visual disabilities to experience national flags with the same pride as everyone else. The gold, silver, and bronze medals can be appreciated through touch, ensuring every athlete feels included in this grand celebration of achievement. The journey of Tudor Paul SCRIPOR, inspired by a visually impaired student, began in 2020 when he sparked a revolution of inclusion in sports. He creates tactile labels with “Braille of Colors” for two teams of visually impaired athletes: Sakura and Sentoky. His innovation, the Scripor Alphabet. Tactile Colors for the Blind fosters independence while emphasizing the vital importance of belonging within the community. Discover our latest project: an innovative tactile representation of Salbek Castle in Romania, designed specifically for blind individuals! This unique model allows beneficiaries to feel the castle's contours, proportions, and texture, fostering a deeper understanding and imagination of its architecture. For improved accessibility, the castle name is written in Braille and in large fonts. Equipped with NFC technology, the model provides supplementary audio information about the castle's history, arhitecture, and significance, enhancing the educational experience. Tactile graphics like this not only promote inclusivity but also empower visually impaired individuals to engage with cultural heritage in a meaningful way. This success is also the result of a rich and meticulous collaboration with the Asociatia Castel Salbek, Technical University of Cluj Napoca, UNITECH Foundation Cluj-Napoca, Pma, Pablo, Social Tap and Scripor Alphabet.
