Congratulations to our friends at Ninja Theory and Melina Juergens for 4 richly deserved Game Awards nominations for Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, including Best Performance and Best Narrative. 3Lateral asset creation and animation teams worked alongside Ninja Theory's artists to deliver the characters and performances. We deployed our 4D scanning capability, Machine Learned asset creation, and custom facial animation solving pipeline to push Senua’s visual fidelity to a new level and set the standard for digital humans in game development. Melina’s performance is the driving force behind Senua, and now with 3Lateral technology and our talented content production team, the digital character can reach that immensely high bar and reproduce every nuance. The first Unreal Fellowship: World Building with UEFN took place in June at our community space in Novi Sad. Over the course of three weeks, thirteen fellows went through a journey—from exploring Unreal Editor for Fortnite to completing their interactive worlds and planning their future UEFN endeavors. From visual artists and media professionals to game creators and educators, this learning experience enriched everyone’s career path. 🧩 Fellows Milan Zeremski, Aleksandra Bobić, and Nikola Uzelac, along with instructor Norbert Varga, share their impressions of the program, guide us through their projects, and reveal what they plan to do next. The fall Community Summit at Epic Games Novi Sad was all about 3Lateral, and its exciting journey forward.
