*** [ENG] Last week, at the invitation of the International Association for Court Administration, we had the honor of participating in the annual conference of this international association, established in 2004 to promote the professionalization of judicial system management and court administration. ⚖️The conference, held in Singapore from November 12 to 14, brought together over 240 participants from 53 countries, focusing on key issues shaping the future of judicial systems globally - the application of artificial intelligence in judicial operations, the impact of fake news and disinformation on the trust in the judiciary, and improving access to justice. 👨🏫 👩🏫Together with our USAID Project Manager, Milena Jenovai, our team members Dragana Lukić and Momčilo Živadinović presented how the concept of "people-centered justice" is implemented in practice and showcased activities that enable broad community participation in defining priorities and needs for ensuring universal access to justice. 🙏We extend our gratitude to the conference organizers Singapore Courts for the exceptional atmosphere in which this professional gathering was held, allowing for intensive learning, experience exchange, and engaging meetings and informal networking. We are especially looking forward to welcoming the participants of next year’s IACA annual conference in Belgrade! #iaca2024singapore #iaca #peoplecenteredjustice

During October I had the opportunity to spend 3 weeks in the United States of America as part of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) on Rule of Law and US judicial System. I met the representatives of State Department, Department of Justice, Judicial Committee and US Supreme Court and learned about the functioning of judiciary on the federal level as a proper branch of power. I also travelled to Missouri, Colorado, Masachusets and New York and saw the differences that exist in different states. I meet great american hosts who invited us in their homes and shared their meal and views with us. But most importantly I meet 22 legal professional (judges, prosecutors, lawyers, advocates) from all over the world who shared with me their remarkable examples from practice and had the chance to compare our systems, and with whom I shared 24h a day of not only professional but also fun time. Definitely once in a life time opportunity, and I thank INL office in Belgrade for this nomination and opportunity! I will use these experiences and make it highly beneficial for Lawyers' Committee for Human Rights - YUCOM. #ivlp #judiciary #RoL
