Horrible Experience at Clarks Inn - Avoid at All Costs! I booked Clarks Inn for my engagement and I regret every bit of it. The management is incompetent, the facilities are substandard, and the overall experience was a disaster. They promise a lot but deliver nothing - everything is a lie. Major Issues Faced: 1. Hall - Hot, Dark, and Uncomfortable The hall was suffocating because the AC was not turned on in time, and even when it was, they kept the temperature high to save electricity. Guests were sweating throughout the function. The lighting was terrible, making the hall dark and dull-not at all suitable for an engagement ceremony. 2. Electricity - Frequent Blackouts There were five power cuts, each lasting over five minutes. Though they have a generator, the ACs don't work on it, making the hall even more unbearable. The staff took forever to switch on the generator, causing unnecessary interruptions. 3. Catering - Poor Service & Cheap Utensils Food was average at best, but the management tried to cut costs wherever possible. Snacks were served for only one hour, despite promises of continuous service till lunch. They promised five servers, but only two people were serving snacks-completely inadequate for the crowd The plastic bowls for sweets, dal, and rasmalai were of extremely poor quality-cheap and flimsy 4. Parking - False Promises We booked the hotel specifically for its parking space, but they forced us to park outside instead of allowing us to use the basement. 5. Staff - Untrained & Money-Hungry The staff lacked basic hospitality and had no idea how to serve guests. Their focus was only on making money, with zero professionalism or courtesy. 6. Decoration - Absolute Scam We paid an extra €10,000 for enhanced decoration, but what we got was a joke. Minimal decorations, no effort at all, and nothing close to what was promised. 7. DJ - Another Rip Off The dance floor was broken and taped in multiple places. The DJ was playing songs via a phone, taking forever to search for tracks. Even when he did play music, it was at the lowest possible volume, completely killing the mood. If you were recording a video, you could hear people talking more than the music! Their excuse? "Other hotel guests might feel uncomfortable." If that was the case, why charge us for a DJ at all? They should have informed us beforehand instead of deceiving us. 8. Rooms - Dirty & Poorly Maintained Dusty curtains Rusty dustbins in the washroom Bedsheets and pillow covers with stains Final Decision : This place is a scam, and the management does not care about guests at all. If you're looking for a venue for any special occasion, stay away from Clark Inn - they will ruin your event and leave you frustrated. Avoid at all costs !!
