The most comfortable and luxurious houseboat you will find in Srinagar. Advise to stay at Nigin Lake instead of Dal lake. It is very peaceful and clean. On our srinagar trip our family stayed for 1 night at the houseboat by The Jewel in Crown located at Nigen Lake. The houseboat is beautifully decorated, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the peaceful water. The location itself is ideal for those seeking tranquility. The houseboat was sufficiently equipped for the cold weather. Despite the chilly temperature outside, the interiors were cozy and warm, ensuring comfort throughout the night. Hot water is also available which was a necessity since we were travelling in December when the temperature was. -5 degree celsius. The food was also fresh, home cooked and hot. There was a larger variety of dishes for dinner and breakfast and everything was very delicious. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional. Abid the boat manager went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. He was always ready to assist with anything we needed making the experience truly personalized.. The combination of excellent hospitality, delicious food, stunning location, and comfortable amenities made it an experience memorable.

The best houseboat experience in kashmir.. the check in was very smooth.. the hospitality was amazing!!! We had a candle light dinner the experience was surreal the food served was very tasty.. it was homecooked and very comforting. I would recommend 100 percent to stay in this houseboat whenever you visit kashmir... Special mention to Aabid who made our stay super comfortable..

It’s my first time in Kashmir and I already fell in love with it, mostly because I decided to stay in The Jewel In Crown houseboat with my houseboat for our first anniversary. What a beautiful experience! Right from the interior (especially all the intricate details of work), the quality of suit room and its amazing fluffy pillows, to the friendly behaviour of the owner, to the amazing food and mostly to the cosiest environment due to full time working heaters in room, it was one wonderful and magical experience. They also have a beautiful terrace where you can chill and take the morning sun. The owner has an experience of 15 years of doing this and it showed due to the amazing service provided by him and his staff. The brutal cold was not felt inside the houseboat at all. We slept peacefully and woke up with a bright smile on our faces. I will suggest this place to anyone who plans on coming to Srinagar for a houseboat experience.
