Xenophon of Ephesus

Xenophon of Ephesus (Greek: Ξενοφῶν ὁ Εφέσιος; fl. 2nd – 3rd century AD) was a Greek writer. His only surviving work, the Ephesian Tale is one of the earliest novels as well as one of the sources for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
