Speaking at #5thCOMESAFederationofWomeninBusiness Conference today, @Joy Rwamwenge the New Faces New Voices Rwanda Lead, underpinned the significant opportunities provided by African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat strengthen regional value chains by improving intra-African trade, reducing investment barriers, and enhancing competitiveness. She called upon women entrepreneurs in different African Countries in the region to seize the opportunity and specialize in specific segments of the production process based on their comparative advantages.

On the 30th anniversary of the genocide against the Tutsis in Rwanda, we pause to remember: the pain, the cries, and the enduring wounds in our hearts. Each remembrance strengthens our resolve, pushing our mission forward with renewed determination. As we reflect, we reaffirm our commitment to Rwanda and its resilient women. Together, we will heal and make impact, forging a path towards a better tomorrow for all.

"Recognition certificates were awarded to co-operatives excelling in various categories, including the most innovative venture, the highest number of youth jobs created in the year, and outstanding 'He for She' champions, celebrating their impactful contributions to gender equality and youth empowerment."

Reeta Roy, President of @mastercardfdn, concluded the day with a poignant speech, expressing gratitude to NFNV management for their remarkable efforts. With optimism, she envisioned multiplying the impact tenfold, announcing that the grant which facilitated such profound change would also be multiplied by ten. In a touching moment, she received a heartfelt souvenir from the women beneficiaries, symbolizing their appreciation and shared commitment to empowerment.

A captivating panel discussion featuring select business owners sharing their journey from inception to present left us all in awe! Each story was as inspiring as the next, reaffirming NFNV's vital role in empowering women and girls everywhere. Their narratives underscored the necessity of organizations like NFNV in fostering entrepreneurship and gender equality.
