Very happy to have taken part in a session on new sustainable materials during Chemindix2024 with Elizabeth Rowsell OBE CChem FRSC , Jens Perregaard , Kurt Agerbæk Christensen moderated by Nikhil Verghese . IMHO, sustainability can be achieved only through relentless advancement of technology. Drastic conservationist approaches can push our civilization into more pollution. Thank you to Dr. Ali Al-Meshari and Sameer Al-Ghamdi, Ph.D for the invite to join the panel discussion on Materials for Sustainability at Chemindix2024. Nikhil Verghese was our panel host and helped us to share the opportunities in materials science and engineering to help support the net zero transition. We covered the importance of industry and policy makers helping to reduce the cost base of sustainable solutions to make it easy to say yes and the importance of partnerships and collaboration across sectors to accelerate innovation.
